The Borgia candelabra series is named after the illustrious family that exerted great influence during the Renaissance and the beginning of the Age of Discovery. This was the era of magnificence when many artists, writers and rulers influenced and predefined the modern age.
Hand crafted in solid brass, this distinctive piece comes in two different sizes and symbolizes the bridge between ancient decadence and modern purity. Holding long candles, it conveys exuberance while the crisp lines and bare material give it a holistic uniqueness.

About Carla Baz
Having studied Interior Architecture at ESAG Penninghen in Paris followed by Product Design for the Luxury Industry at the University of Art and Design Lausanne (ECAL), she moved to London upon completing her Master’s Degreeto work with renowned designers, including Vivienne Westwood and Zaha Hadid.

Carla is the winner of the Brussel based Boghossian Foundation’s 2013 Design Prize and Maison & Objet’s 2018 Rising Talent award. She now lives in Dubai where she is also Development manager at Art Jameel.
